The event Day of Sound on Sunday 22 August from 16h takes place at Institute for Computermusic and Electronic Media (ICEM) at Folkwang University, Klemensborn 39 in Essen-Werden.

From Essen Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)
Take the S-Bahn number 6 from platform 12. No need to worry about the direction, there is only one. Stay in the S-Bahn for about ten minutes. The fourth stop is yours: Essen-Werden. From Essen-Werden station to ICEM by foot will take approx. 15 minutes. There are also taxis available in front of the S-Bahn station. If you walk, cross the bridge to the other side. Walk straight ahead, then turn right at Bungertstraße. Walk down this street. After about five minutes, you will reach the archway of Folkwang University. Go diagonally right across the square to reach ICEM.
The journey from Essen Central Station to ICEM will take approximately 25 minutes.
