ISEA2010 RUHR Exhibition

AV-Installation, 2008
The project Life at the Witch Trails is based on the idea of creating 'living' structures through sound. Video footage from x/y-stereo displays will be used. The sound source is a special audio composition that could not be realised without direct visualisation. It contains full-on, sound-dependent motion dynamics and forms complex, moving 'cathode ray objects' which allow direct visual access to the smallest details of the composition.
About the Artists
Natalie Bewernitz and Marek Goldowski have worked since 2000 as an artist duo with a focus on audio and video installations. Both studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. In 2007 they finished a six-month artist residency at Location One, New York. Their works have been shown domestically and internationally in places such as the Chelsea Art Museum New York, at the 798 Art Festival Beijing, the ISEA Singapore 2008, Siggraph Asia 2009 Yokohama and Kunstverein Tiergarten Galerie Nord Berlin.
